The cable connection is very loose and hard to get it stay. I added electric tape on top of the ribbon so it fits more snug and then after closing the clamp I taped it down a lot to prevent it from coming loose.
Only the Y button has issues, I have to press the Y button down very hard to get it to register. The connections are clean and no damage I checked with a magnifying glass.
Does anyone have advice? I can try to tape it down even more.
I ordered a new right bumper part so I can try to swap out the button connectors with a new ribbon Cable. Maybe mine is just faulty. If I put a lot of pressure on the clamp to ensure the cable connects with the button board the Y button works better but no amount of tape will keep that strong pressure on the clamp.
