Video AND audio podcast workflow?
No shortage of video podcast opinions on here, but I am (reluctantly) doing video as an addition to my audio.
BUT being audio first (with editing/exporting/publishing) and THEN adding on video (editing/exporting/publishing) leads to a ton of extra double work. I’ve found that doing everything as video first, making a completed video, and then exporting the MP4 and MP3 is an overall faster workflow.
But it’s still so laborious. Does anyone have any good quick workflows for video and audio podcasting?
What got me thinking about this was a video by Tyler Stalman (a creator I respect a lot). He’s a photographer and videographer by trade, so of course he’s biased toward video, but he pretty much says a podcast NEEDS to be optimized for video these days.
