What is the difference between an AB and an ABC transit ticket?

I purchased a 7 day pass from a ticket machine, which gave me a choice of an AB or slightly more expensive ABC ticket. I chose the ABC option, thinking it would cover the trip to the airport. However, when I tried to verify on the transit authority website that it did, I can't find the terminology, AB or ABC, used anywhere. There's just central zone and a few stops outside it, including the airport.
