Hi, I received a handmade yarn plushie for my birthday that I would like to dye a neon green colour. At the moment it’s a dull green. The issue is I don’t know what kind of material the yarn is (cotton or acrylic). If I try to dye it using all purpose instead of dye more and it is part acrylic or 100%, would it not take the colour at all or would it just be lighter than intended?
