Neverness to Everness issue
Curious to get some thoughts on this.
On my MSI Claw 8 AI+, I can run this game at around 50fps without too many issues. Throw Lossless Scaling in for fullscreen with some frame generation and I’m pushing 90+, minor artifacts but it feels solid overall.
Now here is where it gets weird. I also have a Razer Thunderbolt eGPU with an RTX 5060 8GB. When I add that to the mix while playing NTE (DLSS enabled or not), my CPU becomes the bottleneck and I get noticeable frame lag.
Smooth for a few seconds, cpu maxes out, lag, repeat
Watching the monitor in real time, it is clearly the CPU maxing out.
What is strange is this does not happen with other titles like Cyberpunk, so it feels like something specific to this game.
Is this an optimization issue on the developer side? Any ideas on what might be causing it or whether there is anything that can be done about it?
