It still seems like WNBA refs aren’t sure of themselves, that they feel like they need to call the women’s game differently but don’t know what that means.

I see so many fouls that aren’t fouls — and real foul calls missed. And then there are make up calls for the last missed or mis-call. Until everything gets all bollixed up.

Also, I think that ref and league favoritism to the stars — and star teams — is worse than in the NBA!

Officials need to figure this out and get consistent. Otherwise, the WNBA is going to lose viewers and supporters.

In the middle of switching bands, actually getting into two gigging bands and learning new playlists. But I’m also going on a three week vacation where I won’t be able to practice on a kit. Have gigs scheduled in the week or two after I get back.

I’m taking “Stick Control” and a pair of sticks with me to do exercises every day and will listen to the new playlists.

Any suggestions for how else I can stay sharp so that I don’t sound all clunky when I get back, which usually happens when I don’t practice?
