Question for single parents
I have some health issues and recently got got out of a bad relationship so I had to get some help from OW until I was healthy enough ti return to work. I was sharing an apartment with someone which made it easier on income however the property has been sold and now I’m left needing to find a place for myself and my teenage daughter to live. Unfortunately ow doesn’t even give enough to pay rent so my question I guess is what are other single parents doing to financially make it? Even if I was to find even a phone job or babysitting or something I can only make 200 before they start deducting. As of now i honestly get 1700 a month and it’s a struggle I had support of my parents but they are no longer working now as they are old and retired so that help is coming to an end. Are there any resources available or anything I don’t know about that helps cover the rest of rest or light bills or helps in anyway possible! Another thing is for last months rent is there help with that I know the rent bank is there but don’t you need an income of sort to pay that back?
