AWD vs RWD with snow tires?

I'm looking at used Ioniq 5s, and there are a lot better deals on RWD versions. I live outside of Philly, we get pretty cold winters, but I've never needed snow tires. All season tires are enough for AWD and FWD cars in most winters, even this past one. But RWD, I'm concerned about steering. Anyone out there got a RWD and gone through a real winter? I feel like I could save at least $2k with a RWD and put the money into a solid set of snow tires.

Used Ioniq 5 + 2014 Sienna VS Hybrid Sienna

I have a 2014 Toyota Sienna that I use as my DD because I don't drive a lot, everything's local (pickup kids, groceries, etc). I mostly work from home. It's got only 88k miles on it, so I was thinking of picking up a used 2022 I5 for cheaper (~$15k) and using that as my DD and otherwise extending the life of the Sienna, which we'd as till use for family trips. Wife wants me to instead just sell the Sienna and trade up for a newer hybrid, which gets WAY better mileage (36 vs my current 18ish), but costs a whole lot more (probably $35k - $45k, depending if new or slightly used). I really like the I5, and I feel like the Sienna will last another decade if I'm driving the EV mostly and only putting on some highway miles on the Sienna. Thoughts?
