2025 Bondi 9 vs 2026 Bondi 9
Did something change with the Bondi 9 materials between last year and this year? I bought a pair last May and they felt like heaven from the first wear--absolutely zero breaking in or issues ever. I put about 400 miles on them and bought another pair (albeit it, a half size up due to the narrow toe box) and I have put about 100 miles on them since January. every time I run, it's not quite a shin splint but I have a soreness between my calf and shin (close to the calf). Gets better if I take a few days off, but even standing in my new pair for more than about 20 makes the outside of my foot go numb. Did I just get a dud pair? Is it the half a size increase? I've gone back to my original pair for now, and my calf seems improved. Would you try another pair in the first size? Obviously seems like an issue with the newer pair.
