I started collecting shoes when I was 12 (2012) but did not get my first pair of retros until 2014. I remember walking into Footlocker with my mom, and seeing the Powder Blue 3s. I prayed they had them in my size, and they did. She bought them for me as an early birthday gift, and I wore the hell out of them. I collected/traded/sold shoes up until 2020 then I sold everything because I enlisted in the Army. I have been trying to restart my collection since mid 2025, and I am happy to be back in the sneaker community, it makes me feel young again.
