How long prior to the internship do drug tests generally take place. I haven’t smoked in months, so I’m fine, but would like to know for future reference. I’m familiar with ITAR, but wanted to ask for experiences here.
I have these two options.
Pay for SpaceX is ~31$, while pay for Tesla is ~38$. I love SpaceX's Starship program, but ended up with Starlink instead, which is what's causing this division. SpaceX is my dream company, but the role at Tesla felt less like quality and more like actual problem solving. I want to end up working in aerospace in the future (Anduril or new space), so I think SpaceX seems like the obvious play here, but the team just didn't seem as interesting to be honest. I don't go to a great school, so no other new space companies have ever reached out to me. I think after SpaceX, I should be a more interesting candidate for those new space companies. I'm not scared of long hours, especially as an intern. I'm not looking for comments from people opposed to WLB and Elon. I just want opinions on my future, thanks.
