Is Spurs getting relegated potentially the biggest sports story of the year?
A Big 6 team getting relegated is almost as unthinkable as Leicester winning the title. They built a new stadium at a cost of £1 billion only 7 years ago to host Premier League and NFL games. They won the Europa League last year and were in the Champions League this year. The last time they were relegated was 1977, when the financial landscape was completely different.
Would the American equivalent be like the Braves, Packers, or Knicks getting relegated?
