Looking for advice on a grinder dedicated to pour overs.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to add a new manual grinder to my setup and would love some input from the community. I’m primarily focused on clarity and really want to push the acidity using light-roast/pourover-over roast beans.

Current Gear:

I’ve spent a good amount of time with the Kingrinder K6 and K2, as well as the basic Hario hand grinder. While the K6 is a solid all-rounder, I’m curious if I can find a more distinct profile for acidic, tea-like brews within a reasonable budget.

I find the brews using the Kingrinder K series to be a bit muddy, muted, heavier body and I want to explore other taste profiles.

The Question:

I’m currently eyeing the 1zpresso Q (the classic version, not the Air).

For those who have used it, how does the brew quality compare to the 1zpresso X series or Kingrinder K series?

Is there a noticeable jump in clarity or flavor separation between them?

If you've moved from a Kingrinder K6 to either of these, did you find the workflow or cup profile to be a significant side-grade or upgrade?
