Popular opinion: bitching about press coverage and biased refs is part of the fun of being a canes fan!

I’ve seen a few comments saying we’re overdoing our complaints. That’s objective wrong: fan rage is the best kind of rage!

So the (spoilers) are supposed to be kind of tragic right?

Looking at the Axons they kind of remind me of the shadow of the colossus monsters: massive, strangely beautiful, and utterly tragic when you destroy them.

I especially feel this with Sirene she is so elegant and beautiful (fitting considering Renoir based her on his wife) To my memory none of the Axons attack at first , they only defend themselves.

Anyone have a good malicious compliance story?

As security guard it seems we spend most of the time at the bottom the hill that shit runs down. So the only time we really get to fight back is by following the rules. What are your stories of malicious compliance?

Would it do any good to report an impaired driver?

I live in a rural area and today I got behind a person that I’m pretty sure was drunk, they would drift from line to line were driving slower than traffic, even went off the road and into a co nesting road briefly.

Would it have done any good if I reported that to the police? I get the feeling that by the time the police showed up he’d have been long gone but I hate drunk drivers with a passion so if there’s a decent chance my call will do something I’d like to know

Just finished the game for the first time some random thoughts

First of all: I’m not crying you’re crying!

I picked Verso it was time for everyone to move on

But it still broke my heart.

I’m never going to hear the sound a cane the same way again.

I have a bad cold right now, otherwise I’d be hugging my dad and mom.

I don’t know where they’re going to go from here but I hope there’s more Clair Obscur in the future.

Horror novels set during the troubles (not Ghosts of Belfast)

I’ve recently finished the Sean Duffy novels and I’m going through the Ghosts of Belfast series as well. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a straight up horror novel set in the same location and time period.

I’d prefer it not be a “cozy” novel (I read the Carrow Haunt and hated how there were no real stakes) nor a nihilistic one (if I wanted to be depressed and feel despair I’d take stock of my own life😃)

Any recommendations?

Fuck cheap ass employees/clients

Everyone at my site constantly bitches that security lets people in without their badge. This happens because security also has to deal with contractors and trucks at the same entrance (I call it “the cloaca”).

90% of the problems with badges would disappear overnight if the company would pay for a fucking turnstile and badge reader but these guys make Ebenezer Scrooge look like a spendthrift.

One time I was told they didn’t want one because it “looked like a prison”. Motherfucker, you may be here because you love the job but most of us are only here because we have no choice . It IS a fucking prison. Now open the sodding checkbook

Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?
