Why did we not capture Chittagong during 1972 war?
Seems like Bangladesh has 3 chicken neck in their geography. One of them being cutting of Chattogram(2nd biggest city and a massive port).
Just curious why we didn't capture it or get special access because it would provided access to bay of Bengal to the seven sisters. And provide direct naval logistics to the 7 sisters incase of war with china.
