Duck walking at MEPS

Someone was asking me about joint popping sounds and thought y’all might laugh at this.

I was at MEPS (US Military Entry Processing center) and they had us Duck Walk.*

I was one of the last guys to do it. When the examiner left the room I asked the guy next to me “did you hear my joints pop?”

A guy at the far end of the room said “we all heard them pop with every step!”

I was mortified, but it did t hurt and they moved me on to the next stage of exams.

*Duck Walk - hunker down, like crouching. Then walk forward without standing up.

I have a 2018 Flex SEL.

Do the lighter plugs shut off when the car is turned off? Or do they still provide power.

Mainly interested in the one in the center console below the temp controls. The other is the one by the passenger left knee.

Thank you!

Edit: thanks for the answers.

I’m asking because I installed a dashcam two weeks ago and yesterday the car battery was dead. (Battery new Nov 17 2025!) my husband blames the new dash camera which has an auto off enabled. I can’t see how it’s the dash camera.

I’ve looked at some of the info on setting it up to send mail TO paperless and that looks like too much effort for me.

What about sending email FROM paperless? Being able to email a document from the system would be helpful.

When I searched I just found info on setting it to send mail TO paperless.
