Please help me be an adult and choose the perfect vacuum
THANK YOU in advance, I am so overwhelmed lol. I am looking for a vacuum that will be Good Enough, it doesn't need to filter the air to perfection I just want a convenient, easy to use, effective vacuum to replace our crappy existing one. Thus far I can't seem to find one vacuum that has everything I'm hoping for
Preferences:
- Apartment is partially hardwood and partially carpeted, needs to work on both without having to change an attachment or anything like that
- Needs to deal with long hair well & have enough suction to pick up corners
- Narrow enough to clean under couch, furniture etc
- Not super heavy, don't want to be lugging it around & fighting it on carpet
- Cordless or long cord better, hate having to plug/unplug
- Do not love canister vacuums, find them too cumbersome
- Self-standing unless it's super lightweight/portable
- Quiet ish would be great if possible
- Don't love "smart" devices or anything with a screen. It's a vacuum
Basically, I am hoping to find some magical vacuum that is the perfect mix of convenient and powerful. I was pretty set on the Sebo Felix but then I read it doesn't work well on carpet :(
Is there a vacuum out there that sounds like this that's under 1k?? If so please share your wisdom!! I'm also not opposed to buying 2 different vacuums but don't want to spend more than 1k total right now. Thanks so much again!
