We left our house this week and our landlord just reached out with this message, we did not drop anything on the floor to break them like this, the floor tiles were just not perfectly flat and over 2 years this happened in two spots in the house from us just using the house normally and probably in a couple other spots too I bet since they are like the cheapest laminate floors. I was wondering if we need to even bother responding about this or just tell our landlord to take it up with the LTB.
They also are trying to get us to clean the house better even though we spent hours wiping down everything and sweeping everything before we left which we have video evidence of how we left the place in great condition. The house when we got it was also disgusting and incredibly dirty and we have plenty of photos and video proof of this from when we moved in.
Should we ask for photos of what they think requires more cleaning to have it as evidence?
