Do NOT Use All My Sons Moving

Do not use the All My Sons in Chattanooga. If you do, I guarantee that you are being overcharged, lied to, and uncared for as a customer. They care about getting their bread first and foremost. Everything else comes second. I worked for this company and I’ve been working 7+ years in the industry. This is easily, by far, the worst moving company you could work for or hire. We do not get overtime pay. They tell us we are REQUIRED to use their equipment (duct tape, shrink wrap, boxes, etc) even if the customer has their own so that they can charge the customer extra for used equipment. The movers are not allowed to touch anything in the truck until AFTER payment is made, which is unusual already, and you’d think that’s because nothing goes wrong with payment after the labor is done. But of course there have been times where movers would complete the job and there’s issue with payment. Like, that happens in the industry, but guess what? Even if that’s the case, You’re still supposed to still pay your movers at the end of the day. at least that’s how it happens with 99% of other moving companies. but with all my sons, our time starts when we start the job. we have to give them a start time and an end time. that end time has to be determined before we start unloading. Now this wouldn’t be a big deal if we were able to collect payment ourselves. But no, we have to call it in to a department that all my sons has in Texas called Remote Ops. Remote Ops basically does whatever they feel like doing. their goal is to get the company money, not to make sure you are having a good moving experience or to make sure that the workers are OK. It’s to make sure that the company is getting their money. Remote Ops has been rude to customers. They have been very dismissive of the movers. They don’t care about the customers or the movers. They take their sweet time when it comes to answering the phone. There are times where we cannot start the move because payment hasn’t been made and we are at the unload trying to establish an end time with Remote Ops, but they are not answering their phone for two hours straight. The customer is calling them. We are calling them. and they choose not to answer the phone. at least that’s how it seems like on my end. There was an instance where a customer was concerned about something going on during their moving experience after making payment, and remote ops literally never answered. now they may be busy, but I still feel like that is unacceptable especially where the customer is concerned. imagine having movers ready to work, ready to go, but they are unable to make That call that will collect payment and everyone is instead sitting with their thumbs up their ass waiting on Remote Ops to answer. this has happened to me at least 10 times while working for all my sons. And when they get their money, let’s say we are over the established in time and we need to call them back to readjust the time. Most times they will not pick up and we end up working while not getting paid. This has happened with me on several occasions.

The guy that used to run that store stole almost $10,000 from that branch in Chattanooga. The regional manager is currently paying off a driver’s hospital bills because he was not supposed to be driving and/or working according to DOT regulations, but he still got hurt during a job that happened cross country. They did not want to give him Worker’s Comp, because if they did that, they knew that they would be in trouble for having that driver work as long as he was working.

Remote Ops is rude and short with the customers AFTER they pay. A lot of the workers are unprofessional drug addicts. There are some good guys as is the case with almost everywhere you work, but they are underpaid and overworked and that’s all those are the type of workers you are going to get if you hire all my sons for any moving purposes. If you are in need of a quick move, do not hire all my sons because we are required to take our sweet time to wrap literally every piece of furniture, which in and of itself isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if the customer is in a hurry or they’re on a time crunch, we are not allowed to accommodate that because we need to use our equipment in order to get the company money. Remote Ops will lie to you about what the what the workers can actually do as well.

Please hire a good moving company like River City Moving, Good Guys, Muscle Movers, or even two men and a truck. Do not hire All My Sons. They are NOT cheap and I promise you, you will be disappointed with the bill in proportion to how much you have to move.
