I reposted yesterday's video of this incident.

This morning my buddy from Stamford sends me this clip he received in his discord.

News articles are saying it's two completely separate incidents. First one is a car fire you see burning in the video. Second accident happened nearly two hours later which is when this video takes place. You can literally see the 17 year old kid being pulled from the BMW after he crashed into the back of the state trooper.

Hope this kid learns a life long lesson for almost causing an even bigger disaster and almost adding to the death toll.

New Canaan, CT - Police released new body cam footage capturing the moments before and after a fiery crash on Route 15 Tuesday night, which followed another fiery crash that resulted in one death.

The first crash was reported around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday near Exit 13 in New Canaan, Stamford Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Kerwin said. He said the incident was a single-vehicle crash with a "reported fire."

Around 11:50 p.m., a passing motorist struck a state trooper's vehicle that was at the scene of the initial crash, Kerwin said. That crash caused the police cruiser to also catch on fire, he said.

The driver involved in the crash with the trooper's vehicle was taken to Stamford Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Connecticut State Police said as of Wednesday afternoon that they were working to confirm the identity of the female individual who died in the initial crash. They said the person was riding as a passenger when the crash occurred, and the driver, a 64-year-old Bridgeport man, was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
