The specialty coffee scene in Rome is so boring. I went to 3 different coffee shops and all of them sourced their beans from same roaster, Aliena coffee roasters.

5 years ago there was a coffee shop, called Pagamino, near Vatican, they sell beans from different roasters, such as garage, gardelli and even the barn. I thought they were closed, but turns out they move inside a beer bar and i dont understand how can you order a cup of coffee there.

I mean, Aliena’s coffee is Amazing, but its like they are monopolies Rome’s specialty coffee. Every where i go i only see them.
