Why I think Robotnik won't be an alternate universe version of Eggman.

I really don't have ab exact how for his survival in Sonic 3 but Doctor Eggman has survived many things that would've easily killed someone on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, so and while he shown some sense of humanity before his sacrifice that won't mean he'll be reformed like that, he's helped save the world in Sonic Adventure 2 and went right back to being a villain in the very next game, and in other games and the 3rd movie he has teamed up with Sonic sometimes only to betray him afterward and finish the game as the villain. So I really don't think his sacrifice in the 3rd movie leads to an alternate version of Robotnik as the only way to make him the villain of the 4th film.

I think I know the reason Wart's scene had this kind of theme

In the Mario Galaxy Movie Wart is found in a big casino like area full of slot machines, in Super Mario Bros 2 you can get extra lives with a slot machine themed mini game, that I don't remember how to activate said mini game to play it but since Wart is a Super Mario Bros 2 character i think they gave used the slot machine mini game and himself along with most the bosses in Super Mario Bros 2 for a big shoutout to the game.

Who lives in the Tree Top Town

This is something I've wondered since I played Donkey Kong Country as a child. In the background of the level you can see light shining out the doorways and windows of the tree houses though you don't really get to look inside of any of them, the only thing there are enemies and I am pretty sure Kremlings wouldn't want to live in the trees. if it was deserted I think the inhabitants that did live there were probably Mankey Kongs
