Mandatory Pink Tag.
Don’t lie to me. Flying out of Lafayette. Announcement that ALL bags must be pink tagged and checked. I know mine fits in a CRJ700. Went up to tag it and ask why…. Basically told by Gate Agent don’t care if I know it fits, tag it, and check it FA said so. Called me rude for telling her it fits and daring to ask what’s going on. I fly a lot on Delta in the 700 and know it fits. Bought it because it does.
If all the bins were broken or something I’d understand. Long shot that would be the issue. I understand asking to pink tag ahead for full flights, but telling us it’s mandatory… don’t lie to me and then call me rude for questioning. I was perfectly polite till she copped an attitude with me.
Got to the plane and asked FA what was up. She’s says if it fits bring it on. She never mandated it….
