Need help and opinion please?

Hi everyone,

I just finished my first year as an architecture student and I have a 4-month summer break coming up. I really don’t want to waste this time and I’m looking for ways to gain experience, whether that’s through a part-time role, internship, or even freelance work.

I have basic skills in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Canva, and I’ve worked on projects like villa and pavilion designs. I know I’m still at an early stage, but I’m eager to learn and improve, and I’m open to doing junior-level work like drafting, modeling, or assisting with design tasks.

I’m open to both remote work and commuting if needed. I’m also curious if freelance work is a realistic option at my level.

If anyone has advice on:

* where to apply

* what kind of roles I should be looking for

* or how to approach studios as a first-year student

I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!
