Another week, another Firefly Friday

I have one week of exams left and I really don't wanna do it ;_;

I wanna finish my studies but this year was hell for me. I really hated it. I had so many things on my mind and I couldn't focus on my work. But at least in a month it'll be over.

This week I've played the second part of Nikke and I bought my actual first skin in the game the story was amazing.

If you still didn't try Nikke yet you should. The story is amazing. And it's a good thing to do waiting for HSR patches.

I hope one day HSR will learn from other games like Nikke. Star rail isn't doing enough for the amazing characters we love ;_;

What about you? How was your week?

The themes of Planarcadia? The nature of Elation?

HSR had big themes starting the beginning of the story with Belobog (iirc It was a very classic story of two nations being enemies standing together), then the Xianzhou that has some themes around Legacy, Penacony with escapism and finally Amphoreus with emancipation.

We could say that the themes are less obvious in Belobog and Xianzhou, but for Penacony and Amphoreus they are obvious: Sunday represented this idea of hiding in a dream to escape the merciless aeons, and the characters of Amphoreus all wanted to surpass the gods that they deemed no longer capable to look after Humanity, deciding to do it themselves.

But for Planarcadia I am curious about what you think the theme is. It feels like the story is asking a question more general about the Path of Elation, and what it represents to the Trailblazer and the nameless in general.

Everyone in the main cast seems to agree that a real elating world is a world where we can feel everything, and that Joy eventually stands out... I am a bit curious.

For Penacony and Amphoreus we had bunch of videos, music and trailers that helped us to be familiar with the themes of these worlds, but we unfortunately had to dive blindly onto Planarcadia, so it is harder to spot themes for me.

It feels more like some very good actions and funny scenes but with no real link if this link isn't about the essence of Elation.

But tbh this theme might just be enough. After all there isn't imo a path more vague than Elation. What do you think?
