Potential Rabies Exposure?
So I went to the relative of a friend's house and they had a dog. He seemed normal, very friendly and wanted to eat everything. I was eating a sandwich, set it down for a minute, and saw that the dog was standing over it. I pulled it away and kept eating it. Later i found out that a raccoon was found in the yard and the dog went after it. I didn't see any visible injuries on the dog, but I'm worried about rabies now.
The dog also threw up that day but my friends were feeding him human food so i dont know if it was because of that. I read somewhere that rabies doesn't survive stomach acid but the roof of my mouth was burnt a few days before coming here and still hurt a little. This was three days ago and I've had a few stomachaches today. I'm not sure if I should be freaking out over this or not. Not looking for health advice. Just want to know if I should bring this up with my friend or if it's not worth it.
