Let’s check out each other’s SaaS products and share feedback

Drop your SaaS/startup/project below and let’s help each other out with:
• honest feedback
• UI/UX suggestions
• bug finding
• feature ideas
• early traffic/users

I’ll start with mine:

XLink — a simple platform for:
→ Smart link shortening
→ QR code generation
→ Secure file sharing up to 200MB
→ Link analytics & traffic insights

Trying to keep it clean, fast, and free to use.

Would genuinely love feedback on which feature stands out most or what feels confusing as a first-time user 👇

Building XLink taught me people care more about analytics than I expected

Been building XLink over the last few months — mainly because I got frustrated constantly switching between different tools just to share links, files, and QR codes.

Initially I thought people mostly cared about:
• shortening links quickly
• easy file sharing
• cleaner UI/UX

But after adding analytics and traffic insights, I realized users care a lot more about tracking than I expected.

People want to know:
• where traffic is coming from
• unique users
• which links perform better
• when links are being opened

Another thing I underestimated was how repetitive file sharing becomes when you upload the same file across multiple platforms repeatedly.

Current features:
→ Smart links
→ QR codes
→ Secure file sharing up to 200MB
→ Analytics & traffic insights

Still learning a lot about:
• balancing simplicity vs adding more features
• making analytics easier to understand
• improving the overall sharing experience

Would genuinely love feedback from other builders on what matters most in products like this.

(Free to use & ad-free.)

Built XLink — Free Link Shortening, QR Codes & File Sharing

Been building XLink after getting frustrated with existing tools having aggressive limits, ads, weak analytics, and too many unnecessary steps.

Focused on making:
• free link shortening
• free QR codes
• secure file sharing up to 200MB
• optional accounts for analytics & traffic tracking
• cleaner and simpler sharing experience

One thing I learned quickly: users care a lot about analytics clarity and reliable sharing.

Would genuinely love feedback on:
• UI/UX
• Features that feel missing
• What matters most in tools like this

Building XLink taught me that most “free” tools aren’t actually free

Over the last few months, I’ve been building XLink — a platform for link shortening, QR codes, analytics, and secure file sharing up to 200MB.

The original idea came from constantly running into the same problems with existing tools:
• aggressive limits on free plans
• analytics locked behind subscriptions
• ads everywhere
• links getting flagged or disabled
• too many unnecessary steps just to shorten/share something

So I started building a simpler alternative focused on:
• instant link shortening without login
• free QR code generation
• free file sharing
• optional accounts for analytics & traffic tracking
• cleaner UI/UX and easier sharing flow

One thing I underestimated was how much users care about analytics clarity. People don’t just want click counts — they want to understand traffic, unique users, and how links are performing over time.

Still learning a lot around:
• analytics expectations
• performance optimization
• building a smoother sharing experience

Would genuinely love feedback on:
• UI/UX
• Features that feel missing
• What matters most in tools like this

I noticed a small but repetitive problem in my daily workflow:

Whenever I wanted to share something, it wasn’t just one step:

* If it’s a file → upload it somewhere to get a shareable link

* If the link looks messy → use a link shortener

* If I need a QR → use another tool

None of these tools are bad individually,

but the switching between them started to feel unnecessary.

So I experimented with a simple idea:

What if all of this could be done in one place?

I ended up building a basic version with 2 simple flows:

* Paste a link → get a short link + QR code

* Upload a file → get a short link that downloads it instantly

And one thing I focused on:

Making sharing instant (like sending directly to WhatsApp or email without copying links)

What I’ve learned so far:

  1. People don’t think in features, they think in actions

Nobody says “I need QR + short link”

They just want: “I need to share this quickly”

  2. Combining tools sounds easy, designing the flow isn’t

Making everything feel simple without clutter was harder than expected

  3. Small friction is easy to ignore, but adds up daily

Saving even a few steps feels valuable when you repeat it often

What I’m still figuring out:

* Is this actually a real pain point or just my personal workflow?

* Would you switch from your current setup?

* Do you prefer separate tools or an all-in-one solution?

I’ve been building a small tool called XLink around this idea—happy to share if anyone’s interested.

For anyone curious, this is what I’ve been working on:
