My Uber driver made more money showing me his IPTV setup than the actual ride 😂

20 minute ride to the airport. Dude had a screen up front playing a live game in crystal clear quality.

Asked him about it. He said he pays $10/month for IPTV and has everything.

By the time we got to the terminal I'd tipped him $20 just for the info.

Okay Reddit — what's actually the go-to service in the US right now? Tired of my $160 cable bill.

Trying to log into Smarters and it keeps saying “Invalid details”.

I copied the username, password, and server URL exactly how my provider sent it. Double‑checked for spaces and everything.

Is there something specific about the server URL format I should be careful with? Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Tried recording a live channel last night and it just stopped after like 10 minutes.

No error pop‑up, just says recording finished but the file is incomplete.
I’m recording to a USB drive plugged into my Shield.

Is this usually a storage permission thing or something with the stream itself? Never really used the recording feature before.

I’ve been clicking around for the last 15 minutes trying to figure this out.

Is there actually a way to reorder channels inside a category? I can mark favorites, sure — but I can’t find any option to move channels up or down.

Running Smarters Pro on Fire Stick.
Am I missing some hidden long‑press menu or is this just not a thing?

I am at my wits' end with these cheap providers. During the week, my current service works flawlessly. I can watch the news or random channels with zero buffering.

But the absolute second a major Premier League match, a big UFC PPV, or an NFL playoff game starts, the stream becomes completely unwatchable. It either buffers every 10 seconds, loops the same 5 seconds of audio, or the channel just goes completely black. It’s obvious their servers are getting overloaded during peak hours.

There is nothing more frustrating than inviting friends over for a fight night, only for the stream to die right before the main event walkouts.

I am done with the $30/year AliExpress specials. I am looking for a premium, under-the-radar IPTV service that actually has the server capacity and bandwidth to handle big sports weekends without breaking a sweat. I strictly need 50/60fps sports channels (US/UK/CA) that are rock solid.

I am more than willing to pay a higher premium price for actual reliability. Does anyone have a provider that survives big match days?

I originally got IPTV for live sports, but my family wants to use it to replace our expensive streaming subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.).

The problem is, the VOD (Video on Demand) section on my current provider is absolute garbage. Half the new movies are low-quality 720p cam rips with hardcoded foreign subtitles that you can't turn off. When it comes to TV shows, they are always missing random episodes in the middle of a season, or the audio is completely out of sync.

It’s impossible for my wife and kids to enjoy it.

I don't mind paying a premium monthly price for a top-tier IPTV service if it means I get a massive, well-organized, and frequently updated 4K VOD library alongside reliable live TV. I just want an all-in-one replacement that actually works.

Does anyone use a provider where the movie and series section is actually maintained and feels like a real streaming app?
