Did Lenin actually hate Stalin?

(I don't know what flair this fits under correctly lol)
I'll preface this by saying I'm new to communism so go easy comrades. Anyway, I have heard about how Lenin didn't trust Stalin, or at least didn't want him in power, a lot from Western media sources that I have come to doubt immensely as of late. Since this is pretty much the only communist sub I trust, is that true or is it a fabrication? I'd like you to tell me about it and also give me some more reliable sources in their coverage of the USSR that talk about this. Please and thank you, brothers..

Comrades, I want to ask the Marxist-Leninist stance on private gun ownership.

Pretty much the title. I haven't read theory yet (I'm planning to), and I'm very new, so I thought I'd ask what the position is on civilians owning firearms. I'm asking about both sides of the issue, as in pre-revolution and post revolution.

I'd like to ask my comrades to tell me the failures of Democratic Socialist states and why they're flawed.

I'm very interested in communist ideology, but I'm still a newbie. So, I'm looking at these DemSoc countries, and they look good honestly. The Nordic model looks good. Those countries have a very high quality of life and stuff. I've seen people say that it's fueled by imperialism, and I'd like some examples on how it is. I know there has to be a catch, and I want to know what it is and how to argue against usual DemSoc beliefs. Be easy on me; I'm new, comrades.

Edit: Sorry comrades, I do mean Social Democracy, not democratic socialism. My mistake. and if you want to talk more in depth on this topic, especially if you live in a SocDem country, please DM.

If you're wondering why Mauritania is not sure, it's because I know nothing about how it is in Mauritania (If you're educated or Mauritanian, please tell me about it). UAE is reluctantly because I heavily disagree with their politics. Bahrain because I am Shia and I've heard they're discriminated against by the government (feel free to tell me about the factuality of that). The rest are off of my understanding of how it is. If it's wrong, educate me please.
