Interesting "2023 Prototype" listing
Browsing Angels gear on eBay and saw this listing for "Prototype Nike Authentic Los Angeles Angels 2023 MLB Jersey." I've seen listings like this before, often for jersey concepts that were never released.
2023 is when Nike infamously changed the jersey template. I wonder if this was part of a mocked-up uni refresh the Angels requested, or if this was just a concept Nike volunteered to help launch their new jerseys?
It's interesting that there's a lot more blue incorporated, but I wish they had added gold instead of silver. I wonder if they're still considering a rebrand soon.
