Hey guys, so I’m about to sell my home. Im basically tired of mowing and have a lawn care business (mulch and laying rock has been the most landscaping i’ve done). I REALLY want to do a skid steer business although I don’t have much experience with it (i know dumb). I was going to get the experience by advertising work but I’m curious.
Would you start a roll off trailer business first and get some income going then slowly transition to skid steer work mean while I rent skid steers for jobs or go all in on skid steer? I plan on doing clean ups, brush, gravel driveways, and eventually get good enough to learn grading.
I’m making about 80k profit from the home and already have a 22 ram 2500 6.4 hemi.
Please no smart alecs. Ive been careful all my life and not risking anything and I’m tired of it. I wanna go full throttle and do it right but sometimes I need a 3rd party input because my spending habit says skid steer but something in the back tells me roll off trailer first.
