I'm planning the logistics of throwing my own rave, and I did not know there was a lot that went into it. I've thrown some small events in the past DJing there as well, but I didn't think there would be a whole bunch to know about throwing raves. I'm very interested as to what makes an event exciting without having it go down in flames, so I'd love to hear your tips. What tips do you have? What are some things I should keep in mind. Bestow your holy wisdom unto me please!

I've made it a goal to throw a TON of events over the summer, DJ anywhere. I've been DJing in random places for exposure and honestly my own enjoyment, but I've also been looking to throw some small raves too. I know that I definitely can't do this alone, so I'd like to do this with a few other people! If this interests you, and you've been wanting to dabble more in the scene or get serious as a DJ, let's do this together. We can have an event of our own, throw something small, and go from there. If things go well then we can see about continuing, and we'll just find some exposure too. It could be a small set, a lineup, a b2b, whatever. Reach out if you're interested. Hi guys! I’m a student here at GSU, and I’m open to playing more gigs as a DJ over the summer. I have my own equipment, and I can play a good variety of genres: EDM genres (house, techno, trance, future bass, etc.), Pop, Hip-Hop, Trap, and even random meme songs if you want me to troll the crowd. I’ve been more confident in my DJ skills and my artistry as a whole, and that reflects well when I play, which helps the room a lot.
