I was trying to tail my friend but it keeps saying session unavailable. Just me or is everyone like this?

I was trying to tail my friend on watch dogs 1 and it always said game session unavailable even tho they are online in the online contracts menu. Is it like this for everyone? Or did Ubisoft remove the tail a friend feature? I’m on ps4 they are on ps5 for context

I was playing just about 20 minutes ago watch dogs 1 on my ps4, and was doing some races online. Now the game is saying Ubisoft servers unavailable. Is it just me for is it like this for everyone?
