I don’t have the bolts fully tightened but it still seems it’s not wide enough. I am also installing quick release hardware but I believe that goes outside the struts not between the fender and strut. Everything I’ve looked at says this swap should work. I was gonna not use the strut covers (so I wouldn’t use longer early model ones either) so that leaves the holes open on the end of the fender too. Thought I could maybe mount the lights there still. Seems I’d need some other piece to mount against the fender to do that potentially. Or just only run a single brake/tail light with integrated turn signals inside the fender with center mount license plate, and delete the side turn signals?
