Par 4, 190 yards out. Wind is neutral. I pull the 5-iron and absolutely flush it. The kind of strike you feel in your soul.

I watched it track the whole way, take one hop, and disappear. I was 100% convinced I’d sailed the green, so I started walking toward the back to search for my ball. As I passed the pin, I didn't even want to look in the hole because I didn't want to humiliate myself with false expectations... but I peaked out of the corner of my eye and boom, there it was.

I’ve never had an eagle in my 20-year-old golf life. But since I’d already dunked my drive into the water and took a drop, this 190-yard miracle was for a fucking birdie.
