I’ve been noticing more and more posts here about people looking to hang out, make friends, or just find some company—and honestly, I relate to that too.
I’ve actually been using my time well here reading books and fully pursuing my hobbies but even then, that sense of loneliness still creeps in sometimes.
It’s a great city in many ways, but somehow building a real social circle here doesn’t seem as easy as it should be. Especially if you’re not into the usual party/drinking scene.
At the same time, it’s kind of comforting to see that others are in the same boat. Maybe more people are open to meeting new people than we think.
What’s your experience been like? Have you managed to find your circle here, or are you still figuring it out?
