Apparently, an older gentleman in the neighborhood had been working on my dad’s truck on the weekends here and there. He would tell my stepmom what to order and she would buy it. Totally did not know this. She gave me this list and said if I wanted to have the truck, I’m the one who would be paying for the parts. He is just an old wrench turner who likes to tinker….how fuckin cool

I just thought that was super cool of him. I’ll have to buy him a bottle of his favorite whatever. More updates to come

This was my Dads truck that has been sitting on the side of the house for almost 10 years now. It’s been worked on here and there but mostly just sitting, waiting for something good to happen lol. I think I’m finally at a place where I want to do something with it, but am a little daunted by the rust I see. I am not an expert nor even an amateur car guy, but would be comfortable watching YouTube and hiring out what’s needed. But is this too much rust??
