RG477M w/ GammaOS - Yay or Nay?

I pulled the trigger on a RG477M.

I have a Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini w/ GammaOS intalled. My experience with Gamma has been fine overall, though there have been a couple of times when RetroArch became unresponsive and the OS started to lag...

What's your experience with Gamma on the RG477M. Any reason why I shouldn't choose it over stock? Or is there another OS which you prefer?

Thanks in advance!

Please help me find the RIGHT device for me.

I've gone through a bunch of gaming handhelds. I've always found a fatal flaw in each one that put me off playing them for good.

Examples

  1. Steam Deck = too big for my small man hands (not comfortable to play long periods)
  2. Retroid Pocket 2 = shape cramped my hands (not comfortable)
  3. Anbernic RG35XXSP = buttons too clicky (even after dampening them with tape)
  4. Miyoo Mini V4 = No bluetooth for earphones (This would be my ideal device if it had bluetooth)
  5. Ayaneo Poket DMG = ergonomics and location of buttons

Personally, I don't mind how cheap a device is, as long as it ticks all the boxes. Those being:

  1. Comfortable for long play sessions. (No preference on horizontal/vertical)
  2. A screen shape that caters more towards retro games up to PS1 (or there abouts).
  3. Pocketable (can be crammed in a pocket or bag on the fly)
  4. Reliable bluetooth (latency and connectivity are important)
  5. Powerful enough to play up to PS1 (but I wouldn't grumble if it could play more)
  6. Relatively quiet, responsive controls.

Does a device like this even exist? If it does, please recommend it because I'm getting tired of buyers remorse.

Thanks in advance!
