Give me your best/most honest advice
I’m turning 30 next year, I’ve been working in catering management for almost 6 years now and I’m looking for a more long-term career switch. I’m aware that becoming a successful real estate agent is extremely challenging and the field is quite saturated, but are there any agents out there (new or seasoned, bonus if you’re an Atlanta local) that can offer some solid insight to what I’d be getting myself into given the current market?
I do believe I would have a genuine passion for the work and great experience in hospitality to lean into, but I don’t want my naivety to keep me from considering all sides of this.
I don’t have kids and really only have myself to support, so I’m not under the impression that this would be any kind of get rich quick career. Just a girl who knows how to work hard and loves the potential for what this field may open up for me if I play my cards right.
