Injured box turtle. Any advice??
Found this poor fella with a deep wound to the top of his beak. Looks like there’s some type of parasite or fungus growing near the wound and on the body. The eggs(?) brush off with water. Skin looks good otherwise and he’s got good energy. Anyone know what the eggs(?) are and whether we should remove them. Looking to treat with something and release.
