Gay-Friendly Primary Care Recommendations (April 2026)

I recently moved here from Atlanta, GA where I had an excellent primary care physician with whom I could be completely open without fear of judgment or discrimination. Now that I'm here in Jacksonville, are there any current recommendations for gay-friendly primary care doctors? I'm a cis-gender gay man on PrEP who otherwise doesn't have exceptional medical needs.

I went through old posts on this topic, and the information is now old and/or links provided no longer work. The GLMA Provider directory only lists two doctors, neither of whom take insurance. Same two PCPs are listed in the OutCare Directory. I've got good health insurance, but not many doctors have listed themselves as "LGBTQ Supportive". I suspect many just don't go out of their way to check that box, so not listing does not necessarily mean they aren't gay friendly. Any personal recommendations are most welcome, or if there's a reliable directory that I've not found, I'm all ears.

The Thank you in advance!
