Options for a stacked mag pouch for 2 20rd AR mags

Options for a stacked mag pouch for 2 20rd AR mags

I want a double stack mag pouch specifically for 2 20 round 5.56 metal mags for a hunting rig I’m building.

I see [Beez has one](https://www.beezcombatsystems.com/products/ar-double-magazine-20-round-pouch-open-top-gridlok?variant=42145234878711), but you can’t actually see it, and idk if their shipping times still suck.

I also see the [Esstac Lidded Double](https://esstac.com/lidded-strap-double-5-56-pouch/) but idk if the short variant is short enough.

I don’t necessarily need a retention strap, as long as it has pressure retention. But no Velcro. Also, this is just a hunting rig, so the cheaper the better, which is why I thought about the Beez one.

Any suggestions?

Gregory Cirto 24 vs Osprey Sportlite 25

The osprey is half the price of the Gregory. I need a pack for single day hikes, and am looking between these right now. If there’s a better option lmk.

I have a 3L eberlestock hydration bladder that needs to fit as well. Mostly using free spark in the pack for clothes/snacks/medical.

Backpacks for day Hiking/Hunting, is a “trail” oriented bag better than “tactical”

I’m looking for a backpack for an upcoming trip to big bend national park in May.

I want a 20-25L bag and have been looking at Eberlestocks options, but I don’t know if I should go that route or more hiking oriented like Osprey or Gregory.

The options are about the same price but I’m mainly looking to carry a 3L water bladder and some medical and extra clothing.

Everyone in the hiking sub says to get a hiking oriented bag rather than a “tactical” option because they are lighter and have better airflow. But, I figured I’d ask this sub since yall have more experience with this sort of thing.
