Spreadsheet of costs

Spreadsheet of costs

Looks like my other post was deleted, I didn't know reddit doesn't like forms. To circumvent this, you can see the costs on this sheet and each tab header has a link for the survey to input your own data to populate the sheet. See results

Prescription cost spreadsheet, any interest?

Would folks be interested in a spreadsheet for the costs for prescriptions? I've emailed a few places in the last few days and the costs seem a bit all over the place. Folks could fill out a google form for submissions that would populate a spreadsheet and I could link both here. Columns would include vendor, link, type (rdt/troches/nasal), dosage amount, number of rdt/troches, cost, additional delivery costs if any, rating of the quality, date of order (as I know prices fluctuate), will also leave a field for notes (could add what states they ship to if you know, shipping time, etc). Open to additional fields needing to be added. It would just be nice to have things in one place rather than digging through post after post or emailing/calling dozens of places by having a somewhat general idea of recent price points.

RDT vs Troches personal experiences

I just started up ketamine again yesterday after a couple of years without a prescription for RDT (which the previous pharmacy called troches) and with new pharmacy I actually got troches this time. My dosage is starting at 150 compared to leaving off at 125 with the RDT (started at 75 I think). With the RDT I almost always had some disassociation but the one troche I tried was a much more mellow experience and was unexpected. I kept it in my mouth for about the same amount of time (25 or so minutes) and then spit. I know batches can differ, and I will try another troche tomorrow night to test again. Has anyone else experienced such a difference between troches and RDT? I’m wondering if it’s the same mellow experience if I should contact the pharmacy or just ask the doctor to prescribe RDT from another pharmacy?

I looked through some old posts and some folks said they had stronger experience on troches and some on RDT so I’m just looking for some more experiences/comparisons.

Also wanted to add that I still had a few 125 RDT that are technically expired that I tried within the past few weeks and def still had a stronger experience with those.

I just want to have the script right for a KAP session in a month (will take 1.5-2x dose for that) and I would hate to spend so much for the session and not have the ketamine actually do much of anything.

Cross River Pharmacy

Has anyone used this pharmacy before? My new provider sent the script there and I did get the troches overnight for a bit extra, which was good. But I tried one last night and did not have the same experience I have had in the past. I used The Chemist Shop a few years ago and they were RDT and always had a good experience as I slowly upped my dosage. This was a slightly higher dose than I’ve ever taken and it had less of an effect. These were troches and different than I’ve ever used. I didn’t really disconnect in a way I usually do. Wondering if it’s a bad batch or I should see if Cross River does RDT just go back to the old pharmacy for RDT if price is similar. Open to folks experience with both the pharmacy itself and RDT vs troches. Thanks!

Parking ticket

Hi, I've lived on my block for nearly 20 years, 10 of which with a car and have never had this happen before. Is double parking for street cleaning no longer accepted? Our street has street cleaning from 1130-1pm, I moved our car at 1125 to double park. I went to move our car back at 12:55 and came out to find a double parking ticket at 11:27. It would've been cheaper to leave the car parked for street cleaning. Are we literally supposed to move our cars at exactly the start time of street cleaning?

I now have both a talk therapist and a KAP therapist, both who take my insurance, though the latter will be partially out of pocket. The KAP therapist uses journey which I would prefer not to do as I suspect I will do KAP no more than twice a month and still would like to take ketamine the night before talk therapy sessions which are weekly and possibly a second time per week. I was previously on a daily dose of 125 and am looking to do higher weekly dose with highest dose during KAP.

I've poured through this subreddit and it seems Taconic is favored, but the $485 upfront plus $275 follow up plus the cost of ketamine is hard to swallow right now. Mindscape looks promising with $250 monthly cost including medication, but I guess it is dependent on dosage and again, how many troches you get. Anywhere clinic also looks promising at around $120-150, however the booking part of their website seems to be down and again dependent on dosage and how many troches you get. Finally Dr. Andersen at $250 per session but refills without monthly visits once stabilized sounds great. Would love feedback, especially in regards to dosage amounts, starting points, highest dose and how many troches as well as pros and cons on any of the above, or anything that I may have missed that fit the bill (I ruled out innerwell, betteru, mindbloom, kalm & joyous).

The last time I took ketamine my prescription (almost 2 years ago) was for 125 nightly troche. I'm no longer interested in nightly (1-2 times a week max - 1 the night before talk therapy), but am also going to do some KAP sessions. My KAP provider usually uses Journey but said if I had my own prescription ketamine I could use that for the KAP sessions. I know for KAP I would want a higher amount. I'm not keen on Journey since I would like to take the ketamine more often than I think they usually prescribe (if someone else has more details though, please share). Obviously would discuss with prescriber as well, but would it make sense if I went up to 150 to take 1.5-2 for the KAP session and the single 150 nights before therapy? I see folks dosages all over the place, I'm about 125 pounds and with the 125 I have a slight/brief disassociation, however I've only ever taken the pills at night and go to bed soon after. Thanks for your insight.

Hi, looking for an NP or other provider offering troches where the intake is ideally under $400 and follow ups are under $250 (also hopefully you could also get refills without monthly appointments - every other month would be great). It's been a few years since I last tried ketamine and my previous provider is no longer in network and now charges $450 for a monthly follow up plus the cost of troches. I see a lot of folks like Anywhere clinic, better u and taconic, but I was hoping to find someone NYC area based that is more affordable than what my old NP is charging, though am open to other options. I'm in the process of finding a new therapist who would support integration sessions as well as someone willing to do KAP (possibly the same person, but I feel like a lot of the KAP providers use Journey and I am ideally looking to do 1-2 KAP sessions a month but also be able to take a troche 1-2 times a week right now, I previously was prescribed it nightly and that was too much). Feel free to message me if you do not want to post names.
