Why would they update stuff after selling people an adapter?

Not going to be a shock here but of course when using the route planning in my 24 ID.4 the Tesla superchargers that are compatible don't show up. Not only that but when for instance it shows an EA station as a stop that is close to a compatible supercharger, the supercharger doesn't show on the map at all. So out of curiosity, and just to confirm what I already knew, I inquired with VWOA on instagram about the logical thing to do considering they sold people fairly expensive NACS adapters. The response was of course "At this time, we’re unable to confirm when or if a navigation update will be released to display compatible Tesla Superchargers directly in route planning. Software updates are rolled out in waves and are assigned to specific vehicles based on a variety of factors, so availability can vary. We recommend keeping an eye on your vehicle’s notifications or App and also staying in touch with your local authorized VW dealership for the latest updates as they become available.". One could argue not a no, but anyone who knows how this would work understands that you would simply compile or ask Tesla for a compiled file of V3 and V4 superchargers and add it to to the nav data. You would then push out a simple interface update in the nav that contains a toggle that says include NACS stations in route planning. Default it to off so that you don't hose someone who doesn't have the adapter. Along with this you push the nav data. Lastly if you wanted to be really helpful, which at this point they do not, you throw in a pop-up that appears on the condition of if user selects a supercharger on the map and has the aforementioned toggle off to tell them that you don't appear to have the necessary adapter, are you sure?

I do like the car a lot, but this stuff is relatively simple and yet they fail to make the effort to roll it out timely. I know I can use ABRP, but really in 2026 that should be kind of a backup and not the go to for a $57k MSRP vehicle.
