How to identify particpants/addresses for mailed questionnaire
Hi everyone, I am new to this group and I am looking for some adivce for my masters research. I am researching perceptions of urban forestry in order to better inform city policies to have location specific goals to address community identified needs and increase equity in access to urban tree benefits. In order to do this my best method option is to use questionnaires using likert scale options and a couple open ended questions to completely capture 'the whole picture'. I have done research before but only ever in a lab where my 'particpants' were hundreds of plants and i do not know what the steps are to actually distribute a questionnaire to ~2000 potential participants. I have an understanding of my sampling frame and some goal numbers to reach based off of a preliminary census data analysis but I do not know how to actually get addresses to mail this survey to and was wondering if anyone has any advice on how this can be done as my advising committee has not been very repsonsive lately.
Im hoping someone is able to help as I have been reading a lot of papers and many studies state how they hired a third party to distribute based on their sampling frame but I do not have the funding for that so any helkp would be appreciated!
TLDR: How to get lists of addresses to send my questionnaire to that can represent the local census data
Thank you to all who read or took the time to help give advice!
