Have recently brought a 96 l200 with the 4g64 2.6 carbureted, putts round town fine, starts fine but when I give her the beans or go up a hill it bucks and backfires until I let off the throttle. Guy before me spent 1200 on getting the carb redone, sprayed carb cleaner around to check for vacuum leaks, couldn't find any, the ute does run cold so I thought it could be an issue with the auto choke but it starts fine and drops to hot idle fine. Any ideas, I know my way round an engine but have fuck all experience with carbs.
