First I did a Couple of days of low carbs diet but I noticed yesterday when I ate a lot of liver wich I think contains a lot of fat the food felt very heavy and sat in my stomache even until next day. I thought high fat probarbly makes it worse
But I need help with what diet too follow. I do t want too buy a book I just want to someone too post the diet right for lpr. Is it dr koufmans low acid diet or acid watchers diet ?
What type of grains are allowed ? Is bread with regular white wheat flour allowed ?

My partner and I have had acid reflux for about 5 months now, and pretty severely. We both never struggled with this before so we figured it had to be something environmental. however we both got tests (h pylori blood test and biopsy) and endoscopy for other bacteria overgrowths and we found nothing. both of us were prescribed PPI’s, but they didn’t work for me.
I was in so much pain even though I was following the right diet. Randomly I came across a post about okra water being good for giving birth. i don’t know why but it made me want to try it to soothe my esophagus.
I tried it and within a day my reflux is gone. it’s not an exaggeration and I have no idea how this is even possible but it is. I’m still on a safe diet to make sure my stomach and esophagus have time to heal but if you have nothing to lose give it a try. no guarantee as I haven’t seen much online about it but it’s worth a shot
Water is alkaline but my throat hurts when I drink(today) Why is that? I have reflux possible silentreflux or lpr . I don’t think it’s acidic but I think I have pepsin in the throat
The thing is does it hurt more in the throat when doing non acidic diet ? Is it because it’s inflamed
Is it reacting because of the damage in the throat ?
I’m not sure if I lived in a moldy environment but the house always smelled very old, chemically, and toxic. About 5 months living there in 2022 I started getting an odor that smelled like mothballs and sulfur coming out of my nose/mouth that ENTS and dentists could not find the cause.
Fast forward to now the odor now smells like poop or garbage and now I have a bunch of gastrointestinal issues like SIBO and gastritis.
I’ve moved out since may of 2023 but all my clothes were there with me. Could this have been mold exposure? If so, how can I cure it? Do I have to throw away my clothes? I have very expensive and valuable clothing, please help.
