Customer demographic
Out of curiosity for the customer demographic I'm curious to how many among you here are active duty or prior service and how many of y'all in here are just history/gaming aficionados?

I find it hilarious that the irony is lost on the PvE players that describe PvPers as psychotic, irrational, spiteful, petty, and a bad reflection of character when PvE players are the ones going out of their way to stalk players, create bounty systems, and use mob mentality to persecute people that don't share their morals in a videogame.
The common talking point they use is that somehow this large majority of PvP playerbase personally has it out for them to leave and that we spend every fiber making sure they don't participate in the game. It's funny because at least from my perspective of what I've seen in this chat for the last couple months I've been here it's been nothing but light hearted smack talking and some bragging rights. There are really people delusional enough to believe this chat is some damn underground syndicate or something organizing their downfall like we schedule times to trap them at extract 😂
Additionally it's ironic that a lot of these PvE only players take this moral high ground that because they play by arbitrary etiquette they are superior yet as the compilation of kill cam posts go they have no problem resorting to dropping slurs and all kinds of hate in addition to trying to ensure your night is ruined. Don't get me wrong smack talking can be half the fun in this game 😅 I just find it rich they think of themselves as the bigger person until a mild inconvenience makes them crash out. It's all performative garbage that feels like virtue signaling.
PvP or mixed play style raiders are somehow the black sheep for some CoD lobby banter and telling people to simply get better at the combat to stay on top of the system rather than trying to remove it.
While PvE players think they're justified in demanding removal or heavily neutering a core mechanic of the gameplay loop that the game devs themselves stated in their development they couldn't green light without. Forming mobs to enact vigilante street justice to firefights they weren't fully involved in. Lots of players love to assume the first player that gets downed is always the victim and could never just be a perpetrator that's bad at the game.
Like how much of an entitled loser do you have to be to not expect to be shot in a PvPvE game that you paid for the experience and rather than owning up that you're bad at the game and improving you instead think that instead alienating the foundation of the game is somehow a more rational solution. Who said I have to abide by your morals in a videogame where real life consequences don't exist, which is the reason we play them, because your feelings will get hurt 😂
