2025 show season ended after AADRI Nationals in early November. She had a nice holiday off to put weight back on and relax. I started working her again in early February and she was toning up really nicely. But then she had a heat cycle in early March so her hormones made her rather soft and saggy.

She’s just now getting closer to where I want her again. I think by the end of May, she’ll have her lats built up more. She’s more mature than she was at this time last year too….so I’m excited to see how she conditions out this time around.

For height/weight reference:
She’s wicketed in around 19.75” at the withers.
She was 62 pounds around the end of February.
She was 55 pounds when she weighed in for weight pull about 2 weeks ago the end of April.
Last year by the end of the show season, I had gotten her down to about 50-52 pounds. I personally liked her conditioning best around 52 pounds.

The show was very large and had very competitive entries in all of the age groups. No love for Tipsy in any of the confo shows unfortunately, but we’ve got some more shows coming up. She is only 35 points away from earning her ADBA Championship.

But Tipsy earned 2nd Place in the 55-65lb weight pull class. Her best pull of 2219lbs (1007kg) was on Sunday. I am VERY proud because it was a very difficult track to pull on and she tried really hard for me. She now has 18 points toward her ADBA ACE weight pull title. 82 points to go!

Edit: Forgot to add she also competed in ADBA Top Dog for the first time and did/learned wall climb on the fly! She tore it up on the treadmill and was the fastest overall out of 27 dogs! She ended up finishing 5th overall in her group!
