Do you bother resolving crashes on really old devices?
I'm working on a GBA and DS emulator with tracking features for Pokemon games. The alpha is out on iOS, Android, and Windows. Dozens of testers across all platforms. 0 reported crashes on Windows, one install issue on Android, but a few dozen crashes reported on iPhone 14 and 13 (one user of each). All the other users are 15 or newer and have not experienced any crashes or issues.
How would you handle this? Would you put that the app only supports newer hardware or track these down? I'm having trouble resolving them and I don't have these devices to test on. I'm torn on slowing down the release or upcoming new features vs leaving some potential users on old hardware in the dust. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
